We never overmanage the tea gardens

Autumn has arrived.
The autumn tea harvest season is drawing near.

In such a season,
we cannot stay idle.
The craving for a fine cup of tea leads us to the mountains.

We come to scout the tea hills on your behalf,
to observe the mountain breeze, the stirring grass,
and the bees resting on the tips of tea leaves.

Sometimes we do not tend to the tea gardens with too much care.
After the picking season,
we let weeds grow wild.
We leave them be, giving them freedom.

Even if they cover and obscure the paths up the mountain,
it is fine — even better this way.
It keeps people from disturbing the tea bushes
and altering their original flavor.
When the next picking season comes,
tea farmers take turns going up the mountain to pull the weeds by hand.

Looking out over the tea hills,
the leaves that glint among the rows of tea bushes
are the "Red Heart Crooked Tail Peach" cultivar.

Red Heart Crooked Tail Peach,
an excellent cultivar for making Tieguanyin,
has slightly red tender buds,
and leaf surfaces that swell like waves,
resembling the sunlit ribs of a tea picker.

The sheen of the leaves is its highlight —
even if abandoned on a lonely tea hill,
they will still shine brightly in the sun,
just as the tea pickers silently guard these mountains.

This is a land that produces fine tea,
a land that nurtures good people.
Because here,
the wind is fragrant, the water is sweet, and the people are kind.

Generations of villagers here
cherish the honest folkways of kindness, friendship, and mutual support;

and value the understated character of "seeing true affection in the unadorned, seeing skill in the subtle".

What is "Guanyin Yun" (Guanyin charm)?
I think,
it is a charm that makes you pause in thought,
like an ink wash painting sketched with a few simple strokes,
where tree shadows appear and disappear in misty, ethereal clouds.

After being enchanted by the aroma and taste of Tieguanyin,
you find a blank space,
from which an ethereal, profound charm emerges.
Orchid charm? Creamy charm? Ecological charm?
As you imagine, as your heart feels.

A Minnan folk song has been sung for many years,
expressing the warmth and charm of the people of Anxi.

"The East Sea yields lobsters; deep mountains yield fine tea.
Relatives and friends come from all directions —
please come to Minnan to taste tea,
please come to Minnan to taste tea."

Minnan people are so hospitable that they brew tea as soon as guests arrive.
Guanyin, Huangdan, Benshan, Baxian — all fill the shelves,
take whichever tea you wish to drink,
take whichever tea you wish to drink.

"Nongli luo lianli luo lian luo..."
For rich aroma, it's Huangdan tea.
For throat charm, it's Guanyin tea.
For unique flavors, there's Meizhan, Qilan, and Maoxie.
Choose as you like, ask for whatever you want,

"Laotie" means both old friends
and aged Tieguanyin.

New friends brew new tea.
Old friends brew "Laotie".

Drinking aged tea together with old friends,
the tea we stored in our youth —
it turns out our friendship is hidden in this tea.

deep red liquor, rich and full-bodied,
calm and mellow aroma, with mature fruity notes amid weathered woodiness.
After the knocks and turns of life, we share a smile.
A pot of hot tea warms each other's hearts.
Looking back, there is a touch of quiet serenity,
as if having "seen the end of the world's road".

We have inherited a treasure,
and we must protect it well.

During this quiet period of seclusion,
we tend to the tea hills,
we care for the streams,
we rigorously select tea products,
we upgrade our brand,
hoping to present ourselves to you in a better light.
